Paychecks

Paychecks will be issued and available to employees at Meltz on the 5th and 20th of every month. The pay check period covers:

1. The 1st through the 15th is paid on the 20th.
2. The 16th through the last day of the month is paid on the 5th of the next month

Direct deposit is available by submitting an authorization form which is enclosed in your new hire package. It can be set up at any time during your employment with Meltz.

Performance Reviews

Hourly employees will receive a training performance review at 30 days (tips now earned), 90 days (review with possible raise), 120 days and then once every 12 months on a calendar basis. Meltz management, however, is expected to give ongoing feedback of performance on a regular basis for purpose of development and training to the highest quality of standards. At any time, should you feel a need for a one-on-one regarding your performance progress, it is encouraged that you request this from your supervisor. Performance reviews whether formal or informal, do not constitute an assumption of a pay raise.

Salaried team members will be reviewed prior to the end of their Introductory Period and evaluated once annually in accordance with the Company’s performance review program.
