As a benefit of employment, Meltz employees may have a ½ sandwich, soup or salad whenever the employee works a 4-hour shift or more. Fountain beverages are allowed for all working staff and cups should be kept out of sight from customers as well as in a secure place where they cannot spill on equipment. The meal is to be documented through the POS system by an employee authorized to use the POS system. Bottled beverages are never allowed to be consumed without purchase.
Complimentary meals may be taken during the 15-minute authorized break as authorized by your supervisor or a 30-minute authorized break if you are scheduled to work 6 hours or more.
